The Jax – I've Found God In A Madonna

The album, which has been awaited on both sides of the Atlantic, was produced by Robin Girod in Jacksonville with the help of three brilliant musicians, under the light of east-coast post-punk and a common love for Madonna, her music, her character and her career.

Surrounded by Manu Ducatenzeiler (ex-Las Kellies) from Bueno Aires, Glenn Van Dyke (Boytoy, This is Kairo) and the incredible Lena Simon (La Luz), Robin and her sisters loved the North Florida beaches, the grey-green skies and the ocean rain. In 10 days in the studio, they came up with a common, multiple album, where everyone plays everything and sings, and where geographical limits no longer make sense. A moment of osmosis for the four of them, who not only recorded a sparkling post-punk-disco album, bringing together the energies of everyone, but also found God in a Madonna.
