Gizmo Varillas – Into The Night

Setting the pace from the get-go, a duelling arrangement of electric rhythm guitar and a muted Wah Wah effect has a dark and funky energy to it. As the bass line hammers down into the verse, a Polka-esque groove emerges punctuated by atmospheric layers of charango and electric guitars. Pulsating and fiery, the track intensifies focus as soon as the lead vocal comes in whilst continuing to build with a magic realism. ‘This song is about fully embracing life by pouring every part of myself - my heart, soul, and essence - into everything I do and experience.’ Joined again on the harp by Wales’s finest Amanda Whiting and Shannon Harris (Noel Gallagher, Jack Savoretti) on keys, Into the Night is the latest release from Gizmo’s highly anticipated 4th studio album ‘The World in Colour’ due out this 21st March 2025.
