The Spanish-Swiss band Sunday, June crafts a brand of psychedelic pop that captures the light as much as it distorts it – a warm, nostalgic ‘solar psych’ where the melodies linger without ever becoming overpowering. Hazy layers, sparkling guitars and a deliberate preference for detours rather than straight lines create a world where the tracks take their time to settle in, breathe and leave their mark. With Sun Glitter and Other Reflections (2025), the band lays the foundations for its soundscape and performs on various stages across Switzerland and Europe. On 6 November 2026, Sunday,June will release their second album, Cinema, recorded at Chapel Studios in England with producer Andy Savours. This new album marks a decisive milestone in the band’s journey, revealing a sound that is maturing rapidly. Whereas the first album drew on a sense of introspection, Cinema broadens the scope: it is more expansive, more organic, but also more cinematic. A logical progression that establishes Sunday,June in a niche all of its own within the indie scene.
