Ella Ronen – Truth

Following «The Girl With No Skin», Swiss-Israeli singer-songwriter Ella Ronen releases her second single, «Truth». The story behind the track reads as follows: To a 16 year old in an Israeli suburb, Tel Aviv was the entire world. In a bar that was famous for allowing underage drinking, a well known poet and journalist began chatting Ella up. He then invited her to his place and attacked her. She narrowly escaped. Years later, a grown woman, artist and activist, Ronen took part in publishing a large exposé that outed him as a predator. «Truth» was written in the tense days awaiting publication.
It is a captivating track with a steady hand-drum beat, acoustic guitar picking and a psychedelic touch. «Truth» is another powerful single with a strong vocal performance and delicate alt-pop arrangement.
