Hood – Cold House (25th Anniversary edition)

Cold House saw the band move to new heights, merging their slowcore, post-rock and folk influences with intricate, atmospheric IDM production and abstract rap from cLOUDDEAD's Doseone and Why? The record is as innovative as it is catchy and sounds like nothing else. The mixture of organic acoustic and angular electronic instrumentation has seen this album gain a new cult following in recent years, and you can hear its influence across a whole range of contemporary artists, from Bar Italia to Claire Rousay, More Eaze and Chanel Beads.
