OJOS – Oui Futur

With OUI FUTUR, the Ojos duo fight themselves as they fight others, delivering power- ful, perfectly crafted tracks. Hadrien and Élodie met while studying to become architects: proof of their ease in building an explosive album, in a completely independent way, as the omnipotent heads of a global artistic and aesthetic project. There’s Adieu, a deafe- ning track in which Élodie screams “even if it means disappointing yourself, I’ll disappoint myself, that’s what I do best”. Llorona, inspired by the Spanish goddess who takes revenge on men who have harmed her by eating them. Je dors tout le temps, carnal and haunting, where writing plays a major role. Krkrkr, rhythmic and skilful. The piano/vocal track Pas si dangereuse was recorded in one take, as if all the sincerity of the moment had to shine through.
