This song is about precarious employment. It's about how we conflate our jobs and our identity. And it's about how many of the jobs we do have left are disconnected from local communities and from global impacts. Skratch Bastid produced the track and crushes a scratching solo on the end. The chorus drums are a sample from Vancouver's We Are The City (now a duo called Big Kill).
