Somewhere between dying houseplants and screaming at walls out of regret, Noah Parks finds songs that somehow make everyone sing along.

Born in 1998 and raised in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, Parks took a winding path to music: a computer science degree he didn’t finish, a stretch working as a videographer, and a near-miss with a teaching career before landing at art school and giving himself the time to become a singer, songwriter and producer. His 2025 debut, SPOT, recorded with producer Philipp Treyer in Baden, was a ten-song account of everything unresolved about becoming an adult, centered around Parks’ crystal-clear, direct voice and catchy, clever indie-pop productions that occasionally venture deep into other genres. The album earned him SRF 3’s “Best Talent” title, sixteen weeks of daily national radio rotation for lead single “Something to Feel,” festival slots at Stars in Town, Moon & Stars and Luzern Live, and a quarter-million streams — a remarkable first outing for an artist who was, by his own account, still figuring out what he wanted to say.
