Lele Javel – Stereogefühle

Lele Javel returns with Stereogefühle (Stereo Feelings), a second album that takes the indie-Kraut-pop of his 2022 debut, and gives it a dreamier, more ethereal feel. Warm tones, spring reverb and slow vibrato creates a cosy ’70s atmosphere for Lele’s laconic German lyrics. Sometimes downtempo, sometimes driving and danceable.

For the new album, Lele Javel has also brought in new faces. It takes at least two to create those really big emotions. So Lele’s voice is complemented with vocals from Dayana Stöhr, who brings a powerful female presence to the mix. Further colour is provided by guest appearances from Melodiesinfonie and Nero Feci, along with Mario Hänni’s crisp, driving drums.
