In Kennedy’s own words: “The Very Far Away EP is the beloved, eccentric sister of the new album Squeeze Me and has three heads: Very Far Away is about the feeling of no longer having any feelings—clad in a melodramatic and euphoric guise. Call it industrial soul. Dream Machine was written a long time ago in Portugal and falls off the cliffs of the Algarve with overdriven guitars, while we found truthfulness in the artificial blues of the acoustic version of Nose For a Mountain.”
